Professional Statement

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11

Jennifer is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor who works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and a BA in Christian Thought from Grove City College and is passionate about integrating evidence-based practice with faith-based care.

As someone who was adopted, Jennifer holds a deep personal and professional interest in supporting clients touched by adoption and foster care. Jeremiah 29:11 became a foundational source of hope during her own journey—reminding her that even in seasons of uncertainty, God had a plan and purpose for her life. This verse continues to inspire her commitment to walk alongside others, navigating identity, belonging, and life’s hardships with courage and faith.

Jennifer specializes in a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, family and parenting challenges, marital and premarital issues, peer and social struggles, anger management, women’s issues, and adoption-related concerns.

She draws from various therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Person-Centered Therapy. For clients seeking Christian counseling, she integrates biblical principles and prayer into the healing process.

Jennifer is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space where individuals and families can grow, heal, and thrive—emotionally, relationally, and spiritually.
